南非萨索尔公司(Sasol)

　　南非萨索尔是目前世界上唯一进行大规模煤液化合成燃料的。萨索尔早在1955年在南非最大城市约翰内斯堡以南80公里的萨索尔堡兴建了第一座煤变油工厂。20世纪70年代危机后，又在约翰内斯堡东南120公里的塞康达相继建起了第二座和第三座工厂。
　　萨索尔使用间接转化技术，先将煤气化，然后合成燃料油和化工产品。目前生产汽油、柴油、蜡、乙烯、丙烯、聚合物、氨、醇、醛、酮等113种化工产品。其中2001年生产成品油730万吨，2002年和2003年产量达到740万吨。
