lishingofnewarchitectoutlookandurbanoutlook,whichthatrenewingthe
oldindustrialbuildingtosolutetheproblemnsofoldbuilingincityisthis
thesis'trainofthought
Oldindustrialbuildingsrenewalmeansmaintainingbuilding'sessential
featuresandtapingthelatentpowerofitandputtingnewvigor.Itisdevelop-
metofoldbuildingitself,itisaparternofcity'shealthydevelopment,itisalso
aninevitableoutcometoapplythe"SustainableDevelopment",Oldindustrial
buildingsrenwalarousepeopletofollowwithmoreandmoreinterestsbecause
oftheimportanteconomicqualityandsocialvalueandculturalvalueandhigh
-teachnicalstatusinindustrialbuilding.Butnowsomearchitectsareengaged
inpracticingoldindustrialbuildingsrenewal.Thelackofsystematicstudyon
architecturaldesignandtheorystillremain.
Inordertoovercomethedrawbacksofpuretheoryresearch.Firstinthis
thesisthestatusofthebuilingincityandthevalueofindustrialbuildinghas
beenstudied.Andthenbasduponthesunmmarizationoftherelatedtheoryand
thecomparisonbeteweenChinaandothercountriedonpractice,thisthesiscar-
riesoutmanyparticularrenewaldesignmodelbymeansofexampleanslyese.
Atlast,thisthesishasadvancedasetofsystematicrenewaldesignmethod
aboutoldindustrialbuilding.
