小弟初来乍到
下午在这个vmware-tools的安装上倒腾了一下午
下面是出错界面，应该是在 vmware-config-tools配置的时候出的错
但是自己一直没在网上寻求到解决方法Create a new initrd boot image for the kernel update-initramfs: Generating /boot/initrd.img-2.6.35-22-genericinitctl: Job failed to start Unable to start servers for VMwareToolsExecution aborted 小弟还是初学，麻烦大家帮帮忙 网上相关这个问题的资料很少

我今天遇到这个问题，不知道怎么解决，我弄了一上午，还没有解决了。跟你的问题一摸一样，也是ubuntu10.4 上安装vmware tools请问你是怎么解决的？不胜感激

请问有没有人遇到同样的问题，这个问题解决了没有，今天搞了一天了，还是没有解决，我的vmware 是7.1.4，ubuntu是11.04，安装vmware tool 郁闷死了。运行 sudo
./vmware-config-tools时，前面很好，到最后出现了Create a new initrd boot image for the kernel update-initramfs: Generating /boot/initrd.img-2.6.38-8-genericinitctl: Job failed to start Unable to start servers for VMwareToolsExecution aborted 不胜感激
