　　走婚族是云南少数民族。在当经社会也有把虽然结婚，却没有共同住所，平日各回各家，节假日才聚到一起，这样的结婚者也称为走婚族。其实“走婚”是云南摩梭人的一种婚姻模式，也是当地的传统风俗。　　走婚现今摩梭人依然保留着这最古老的婚俗。“走婚”是一个传宗接代繁衍后裔的途径。只是不同于其他民族夫妇长年生活在一起。他们是日暮而聚，晨晓而归，暮来晨去。另外，摩梭人走婚有两种方式：一种叫“阿注”定居婚；一种叫“阿夏”异居婚。　　走婚起源：　　摩梭族，这个素有“女儿国”之称的民族，这里仍保留母系社会制度摩梭族的一切都由女性支配。走婚在摩挲语中叫“，色色”，意为“走来走去”，它形象地表现出走婚是一种夜合晨离的婚姻关系，男女双方没有婚姻关系，只有在晚上男方会到女方家居住，白天仍在各自家中生活与劳动。　　一到夜晚，男子会用独特的暗号敲开女子的房门。走婚的男女，维系关系的要素是感情，一旦发生感情转淡或性格不合，可以随时切断关系，因此感情自由度较高，女方一旦不再为男方开门，走婚关系就宣告结束。
