Intel Meegopad T01 Is A Bay Trail PC On HDMI Stick
Intel has released the Meegopad T01, a USB thumb drive-sized device that runs running Windows 8.1.
The stick includes a Bay Trail-T based Atom Z3735F processor, which is a quad-core part clocked at 1.33GHz with 2MB of L2 cache. It also uses up to 2GB of RAM, 16GB or 32GB of eMMC storage space, a microSD card slot, two micro USB 2.0 ports, 802.11n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, and of course HDMI output.
The dongle, which is curently sold online for $110, can run Windows 8.1, Android, or Linux, according to the product description page on Ali Express.
We're starting to see more and more HDMI sticks emerge. Google helped popularize the form factor with its affordable Chromecast dongle, though Google is far from the only player. Roku comes to mind, as does Matchstick, the first HDMI stick based on Firefox OS (and currently on Kickstarter) by Mozilla.
The HDMI stick measures just 3.9& x 1.5& x 0.4& (100 x 38 x 10mm) in size and weighs roughly 1.6 ounces (45g).

MeegoPad T01 Bay Trail Windows mini PC now available for $100
is a little&computer-on-a-stick that looks like an Amazon Fire TV Stick or Chromecast. But it’s not just designed to let you stream music and movies to your TV: it’s a full-fledged (albeit tiny) computer that runs Windows 8.1.

Both models feature 2GB of RAM, an Intel Atom Z3735F quad-core Bay Trail processor, microSD card slots for up to 64GB of removable storage, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, and Bluetooth 4.0.
There’s an HDMI port on one end, which lets you plug the stick directly into a TV or monitor, and a USB 2.0 port on the other end which you can use to connect storage, a keyboard, mouse, or other accessories. There’s also a micro USB port, but that’s used to provide power.
The MeegoPad T01 isn’t the most powerful Windows computer money can buy. But it’s certainly one of the smallest — and based on my experience with Windows and Android devices with Bay Trail processors, it should be capable of handling HD video playback and basic computing tasks such as web browsing and document editing.

英特尔发布Meegopad T01 大举进军移动设备市场
据国外媒体报道，英特尔将移动设备市场上进行扩张。这一次他们的扩张方向是研发电视机顶盒的HDMI端口。为此，他们发布了一个有趣的装置——Meegopad T01，现在它已经在一家中国流行的网络商店中上线了。
Meegopad T01采用的完全是中国式的设计方案。与其它相似产品（例如Google Chromecas和Microsoft Miracast）一样，Meegopad T01也是在ARM处理器架构的基础上建立的。它可以结合主频为1.3GHz的Intel Atom Z3735F处理器来运行。它拥有1GB的RAM和16GB的ROM，并且支持使用microSD卡扩展ROM。另外，它还配有两个micro USB 2.0端口。
如上所述，这款设备的配置非常好。最吸引人的一点是，它可以在完整的Windows 8.1系统下运行（同样也支持Android和Linux）。也就是说，Meegopad T01既可以与显示器、电视相连接，也可以与投影仪、鼠标和键盘相连接，这在搭载 Intel Atom处理器的设备里还是头一例。Meegopad T01的售价是4600卢布（约合人民币680元）。

回顾一下，不久前英特尔与中国瑞芯公司合作研发了一款新型芯片——XMM 6321。这款芯片可以搭载到廉价智能机和平板电脑之上，能够搭载到智能机之上的芯片售价是30美元，搭载到平板电脑之上的芯片售价为40美元。据预计，公司还将推出两种新型号的64位XMM 6321芯片，其中一种支持LTE网络，另一种不支持。
