展开全部古代林州是现今的河南省林州市。古代的林州位于中国河南省西北部，就是今天的林州市。林州市，河南省辖县级市，由安阳市代管，位于河南省西北部、太行山东麓，晋、冀、豫三省交界处，东邻安阳县、鹤壁市、淇县；南同辉县市、卫辉市相连；西靠太行山脉，与山西省壶关县、平顺县接壤；北与河北省涉县隔漳河相望。行政区域总面积2046平方千米。截至2022年，林州市总人口为116万人。林州在中国历史上有着悠久的历史，曾是古代文化名城之一。它以孟尝君（字子舆），中国战国时期的著名政治家和文化名人而闻名。林州还有着丰富的历史遗迹，如古代的寺庙、城墙和文化古迹等，吸引着历史爱好者和游客前来参观。林州市的地形地貌：林州市境内多山，山地、丘陵占86%。地势西北高东南低，境内海拔最高处是四方垴（海拔1632米），最低处位于五龙镇东北部（海拔200米左右），市区海拔306.8米。林州地处太行山东麓，属于华北地震带，境内断层较多，大多属于正断层。最大的断层位于林州盆地的西部并延长到北部，长35千米，断层面倾向东，倾角50-80度，垂直断距1000米。此外还有4处较大的断层和众多小断层。林州大部广泛分布着石灰岩，多裂隙、溶洞，致使地表水极易散失。在有隔水层的地方，地下水埋藏较深，开采相当困难。在太行山东麓，地表被强烈侵蚀，多陡崖、峡谷，造成了太行山与林州地面的巨大高差。已赞过已踩过你对这个回答的评价是？评论
